A New Chapter in Purpose-Driven Leadership: Christy Tagye Joins The Pollinators Foundation Board

Advancing Trauma-Informed Healing Arts, Creativity, and Community Connection in Western North Carolina

At Productive Passions, we believe that healing, creativity, and community go hand in hand. That’s why we’re thrilled to share some meaningful news: our founder, Christy Tagye, has joined the Board of Directors at The Pollinators Foundation, a nonprofit doing powerful work in Western North Carolina.

This isn’t just a professional milestone, it’s a deeply personal alignment with the kind of work Christy has championed for years: accessible, trauma-informed support rooted in the healing power of art, movement, nature, and human connection.

Why The Pollinators?

The Pollinators Foundation is a community-centered organization offering healing arts programs that help people navigate grief, caregiving fatigue, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Through expressive arts playshops, Qigong movement, nature walks, and creative retreats, they help individuals and families find strength, grounding, and connection.

Christy shared:

“The moment I experienced The Pollinators' work firsthand, I knew I wanted to be part of it. Their commitment to creating inclusive, safe, and creative spaces for healing echoes everything I’ve built Productive Passions around. I’m honored to help amplify their mission.”

What Christy Will Be Doing as a Board Member

In her new role, Christy will focus on:

  • Expanding access to healing arts offerings for both children and adults, ensuring no one is turned away due to financial limitations.

  • Deepening partnerships with local nonprofits, educators, and wellness professionals to help strengthen support networks across the region.

  • Contributing to long-term sustainability through strategy, fundraising, and outreach, so these beautiful programs can continue to grow and serve.

A Personal Invitation to Join the Movement

This moment is also an invitation, because real healing is something we build together.

“Healing happens in the community. Whether you join us by volunteering, donating, attending a retreat, or simply sharing this mission, you’re helping plant something that can bloom in powerful ways.”
